Who are the Black Rhinos?

Established in 2010, DMM created the Black Rhinos Mentoring Program to help foster growth and development among young African-American males (grade 6–12) in the metro Atlanta area. With an emphasis on taking young males and transitioning them into productive, strong men, the Black Rhinos program is a yearly program that parents and young men can look to for support and growth. Annually, over 80 young men enroll in the program that spans over 13 events and activities. These events were constructed to provide mentorship opportunities, change participants’ outlook on their future through field-based experiences, and develop leadership potential in each participant.
